Step 1: Fill out our intake form here (3 min)
Step 2: Cadence will review your information and call to match you with the right clinician (15 min call)
Step 3: You will have an intake interview with a clinician to set your treatment plan (90 min session)
We see clients starting at age 5 through adulthood (however, DBT skills group clients must be 13+)
Clients are required to have an individual therapist (within or outside of Cadence) before we can enroll clients in a DBT skills group.
If clients have an individual therapist outside of Cadence, we will schedule a consultation with client family and our clinical director to evaluate if our DBT program is the right fit.
Yes! Clients are offered on a 'first come, first serve' basis. Once we notify clients of an opening via phone and email, clients will have 24 hours to submit paperwork for the appointment to be confirmed before we move down the waitlist.
We do not accept insurance. We want to dictate your plan of care and evaluate what is best for you.
You may however be eligible for reimbursement if you submit our invoice (called a 'superbill', see below) to your insurance provider. Cadence encourages clients to call their insurance provider prior to receiving treatment. Below are questions and clinic info we suggest to specifically ask about:
Step 1: Call your insurance provider and ask what your ‘out-of-network benefits’ are specific to your plan
Step 2: You may provide the following codes:
- First Session (Intake): 90791
- Individual Therapy: 90834
- DBT Skills Group : 90853
- We can provide a specific diagnosis code after we complete an evaluation and begin services.
Step 3: You may provide our clinic codes:
- Tax ID: 84-3717918
- NPI: 1215288543
**Cadence is an out-of-network provider and therefore we are unable to give accurate information regarding individual insurance benefits. Clients are responsible for acquiring any information regarding insurance directly from their insurance provider.
A 'superbill' reflects sessions attended by a client. These are typically used to submit to insurance providers for reimbursement.
Superbills include diagnosis code (specific to the individual client), client and clinician name, CPT codes, and clinic info (i.e. clinic Tax ID/EIN and clinic NPI). See example below:
A ‘Superbill’ only includes sessions attended by client
A ‘Statement’ is a receipt or statement, including all charges (i.e. late cancellation/no show fees)
We ask for payment information upfront (before treatment) and due at the time of service.
We only accept debit and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard or American Express). Information for one valid debit or credit card is required to be kept current with the front desk on the patient portal at all times.
Please contact billing@cadencechat.com with any other questions
Individual Therapy: No fee for cancellation in advance of 24 hours

You can log into the client portal and request to cancel or reschedule with your therapist directly through the portal. Clients have 3 business days to reschedule a session to avoid cancellation charge.
