Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, She/Her

Claire is a Nurse Practitioner specializing in psychiatric care for children, adolescents and young adults. She has a particular focus on providing medication support for mood and anxiety concerns, including panic, behavioral issues, sleep disturbances, disordered eating, self-harming and suicidal behaviors, and general emotional dysregulation. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, where she trained extensively in hospital, clinic, and community health settings. She is board certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the ANCC, and is licensed as a RN and ARNP in Washington State. Her experience most recently was as Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner managing treatment of adolescents and young adults in intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programming at Thira Health in Bellevue, Washington. Through her time at Thira, she became well-versed in DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) as a modality of treatment.

Her treatment approach is based in teamwork, establishing an understanding of each client’s needs and working towards joint goals with therapist, family, and any other providers all aligned.
