Joe Morger

Psychologist, PsyD, He/Him

Dr. Joe Morger received his doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Xavier University and completed his American Psychological Association (APA)-accredited pre-doctoral internship at Southern Illinois University’s Counseling and Psychological Service Center.  His graduate research focused on examining how a person’s expectations of their experience abstaining from nicotine are related to their willingness and desire to quit smoking.  

Joe has received formal training in providing evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for mood and anxiety-related disorders, substance use, disruptive-behavior, as well as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for severe emotion dysregulation. His training has included working with clients in a wide range of settings including community clinics, residential treatment centers, hospitals, and college counseling centers.

Joe works collaboratively with clients and families to deliver treatment that allows them to reach their personal goals and live a life within their personal values.

Joe is currently licensed in Washington and Arizona. He is able to provide teletherapy to anyone in a PSYPACT state.
