Dr. Paige Harris is a Co-Director of the Cadence Anxiety and OCD Program. She earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Washington and completed her internship at the University of California Los Angeles Medical Center. She has specific expertise in the treatment of anxiety, OCD, and related disorders, and was a provider in a variety of anxiety/OCD specialty programs before coming to Cadence.
Paige is formally trained in a number of evidence-based treatments, including Exposure and Response Prevention, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions), and exposure based therapies more generally. She enjoys working with clients across the lifespan, seeing families of clients as young as four, and has experience providing individual and group treatments in inpatient, intensive outpatient, and outpatient settings.
Paige deeply enjoys collaboratively helping her clients reach their goals and overcome their fears, and approaches each individual with warmth, openness, humor and enthusiasm. She knows parents are often a key part of treatment for youth and values partnering with families in service of providing the best care. She also works with parents individually to teach the most effective ways to support their children in overcoming anxiety or OCD challenges and help them gain confidence in doing so.
Paige also has experience working with LGBTQ+ youth and their families, including youth exploring or questioning gender identity and/or sexual orientation. She practices from the Gender Affirmative Model and provides guidance and support to families around healthy identity development. She welcomes clients of all identities.
